Visualsoft Response
8moThank you for taking the time to share such an honest and detailed review, we really appreciate it.
We’re really pleased to hear your positive comments about the culture here, your colleagues, and the supportive environment, as well as some of the little touches that make Visualsoft a great place to work.
Firstly, we’re genuinely sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling overwhelmed and that some of your experiences haven’t reflected the level of support and recognition we want everyone to feel. From a mental health and wellbeing perspective, we take feedback like this very seriously. The wellbeing of our team is one of our top priorities, and we have a number of measures in place to help, including a team of trained Mental Health First Aiders sitting within the business, and access to confidential support through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), part of our Medicash Health Cash Plan. We’d also really encourage you to reach out to your line manager or the People team whenever you need support, we’re here to listen and to help. As you’re a current employee, we’d also really welcome the chance to speak with you directly to better understand how you’re feeling and make sure you get the support you need.
You mentioned new talent and internal growth opportunities, we completely understand why that can sometimes feel challenging. We’re proud to have a long track record of promoting from within Visualsoft and developing our people as they progress through their careers. This is carefully considered when reviewing team structures and before we choose to hire externally. We strongly recommend speaking with your line manager either as part of your 1-2-1s or certainly at your next performance review to talk openly about your career aspirations and development goals, so everyone is aligned and we can support your progression in the best way possible.
Regarding your comment about gender pay, we’re proud of our progress we’ve made in improving representation and fairness across all levels of the business. On salary transparency, we understand your concern. Like many organisations, we’re unable to share other people’s specific pay details as this information is personal and protected by law. That said, we’d encourage you to discuss your own salary and progression with your manager so this can be reviewed and considered appropriately.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Your feedback is really valuable and again we would welcome an opportuity to speak to you directly if you would be open to a confidential chat please reach out to the People team.
