Pros

There are some good people working there, although many have left the company.

Cons

My role spanned 3-4 positions simultaneously which is something I've experienced before at smaller companies, where it's understandable. But at a $270 million national company with over 1,000 employees, it is simply inexcusable. At one point, 4 new distinct roles were being planned and interviewed for, but then a hiring freeze was implemented. Just a couple of months later, the company resumed hiring, yet those roles never materialized and instead fell on the shoulders of two people, on top of our existing responsibilities. Leadership was well aware that our team was chronically understaffed and stretched thin, yet this persisted for years with no meaningful action taken. Rather than fixing the problem, leadership routinely texted or called employees in the evenings, on weekends, and on days off. Worth noting: our team had no direct client-facing responsibilities, yet those in leadership roles earning $200k+ expected those of us earning a modest salary to be available around the clock. I frequently worked on holidays just to keep up, and I rarely used my PTO because the workload was unmanageable and there was simply no one to cover for me. Compensation was never aligned with the scope of what we actually did. Our hard work went unrecognized while the Sales team received constant rewards and incentives. Annual raises were underwhelming, and in my final months with the company, I didn't receive a raise even though I was due for one. Another thing worth noting is that the company offers neither parental leave nor maternity leave. They promote short-term disability as an alternative for maternity, but STD is strictly intended for recovery from giving birth only, which amounts to just 6–8 weeks depending on the type of delivery. PTO, health insurance and 401K is average.

Pros

Remote. They gave me a the salary and the role I asked for. I would’ve been laid off if I had accepted the role I applied for…

Cons

This company has a -17 (lowest possible is -100) employee score answering “is this company is great place to work,”obviously it’s not. 70%-80% of everything about this company is a con. They will lie to you to get you to work here. Lack of tools (which we promised) and lack of true sales enabledment/support. My manager wanted to me visit customer sites unannounced as a way to get leads… The company suffers from sever incompetence. They don’t have a clue about modern outbound sales strategies and what it takes to develop net new business let alone pipeline. If you’re good at printer/copier sales then you should be fine. Not a good place for IT/Cyber Sales as they are living in 2010 with their sales plays. They think customers will care if you tell them you’re “client obsessed.”
