Pros

- Family oriented company, where the CEO takes you out for lunch and gets to know you. - Team is built with a lot of technical people that can help you a lot, but it also relies on folks getting to go on their own after a while to build their own set of standards. - If you want to pick up more work you can and you should. You have the ability to make an impact, whether that is in Social Media Marketing, Cyber Security, Sales, Ops Process Automation, be your own guide for additional leadership experience.

Cons

- Building and maintaining team relationships as the company grows is a key in preserving team structure.

Pros

The work life balance is un-matched. As a corrosion, materials or mechanical engineer on the government services side you will work on multiple projects which keeps things interesting. The pay and benefits are great, I haven't heard anyone complain about those. During the pandemic the company did follow CDC guidelines and let employees safely work from home. The culture is more laid back than other big contract companies, so your stress level will not be incredibly high. Also the company is growing steadily and that's a huge plus.

Cons

Being a small company, sometimes management does not get it right. There are communication issues throughout and sometimes things rapidly change without warning. The organization of the company needs some work. It seems that with all the client projects no one has time to focus on building the foundation of the company and getting structures organized. There isn't much training for new employees on client relationships. Suggestions made at reviews will only be considered for a moment and management might make changes, but the changes mostly fall through the cracks and it's back to square one.
