Principals are extremely knowledgeable in niche financial market sector. They are known within the industry and definitely well connected to wealthy client base. Small organization potentially provides broad opportunity to become involved in just about every facet of the hedge fund business.
Cons
The small size means that all of the strategic, analytical and administrative efforts are executed by few people. Given the aggressive nature of the business this means that work-life balance is a fantasy for those who do not live/breathe for work on 24/7 basis.
