Pros

They have remote job openings available

Cons

Giving them a 1-star review just because it's impossible to leave it at zero. If you are assigned to work with their clients, your experience may vary greatly depending on the client you are paired with. However, working within the internal team is a nightmare. The company promotes a culture of support and teamwork, often referring to itself as a "big family." Yeah, sure, a highly dysfunctional and toxic one where expressing your opinion WILL BE perceived negatively, so if you want to keep your job, just nod along in this circus. The leadership team does not understand internal processes, resulting in impractical "new ideas" and won't tolerate anything but a "yes, sir". Additionally, the goals and KPIs set are not matched with the necessary resources, like adequate staffing, or appropriate salary adjustments. God forbid you suggest a salary adjustment when the workload becomes a burden. In addition, career progression within VL is measured by how much you agree with management, not your actual performance. Gaslighting is also included in the work package as you might be praised as a top performer one day but later informed of poor performance without an annual raise. I feel for the CEO, who got dragged away to "more strategic aspects" while others manage daily operations. ---

Pros

-I worked with Virtual Latinos for several years with mostly positive experiences. -Payments were always on time, and while the pay isn’t very high or competitive, it’s acceptable for the market. -The flexibility to work from home is a big plus. -They offer both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Cons

-Disputes with clients are handled in a very one-sided way. -It feels like the classic “wall and the egg” situation — the assistant has little chance to present their side. -Conflict resolution can lead to sudden removal from the platform without much clarity.
