Pros
Very flexible home/work balance. Very fair salary. Good team atmosphere amongst the department workers. Some of the management actually listened. The others burnt this company to the ground.
Cons
Never once did I feel like my job was safe. It took almost 3 years before that bomb happened, but when it did the company nearly collapsed and they cleaned out 2/3rds of the employees. The CEO was the brains behind this company and he- being young and inexperienced- unfortunately brought on the wrong investors and gave away too much power. The true innovation of the company was lost when the CEO was essentially forced out and shortly after that they laid off 2/3rds of us and basically ripped apart the company. When the company was alive and well things were great. When the waters got choppy with the very very incompatible investors and management who were brought on it was stressful. Heads were rolling every week with new lay-offs and firings. Honestly a part of me was glad it was over when I got chopped. Way too stressful to think any day could be your last.
