- skilled and smiling team - culture of open-mindedness and trust - as an engineer, I had a chance to work with modern and interesting technologies - fully self-funded, which means independent in terms of strategy, also no unnecessary politics etc - shares appreciation programme - great because the company is still in very early stage for what it can potentially achieve - beautiful office location in Amsterdam - recently heavy efforts on hiring remotely and making remote and asynchronous work smooth - management encourages to learn, grow skills, go to conferences, and there's even a separate learning & development budget for those activities - generous holiday allowance
Cons
- salary is not as high as it is in some other VC-funded startups - although management is hard working, they sometimes lack experience necessary to push the organisation towards well-defined goals - hierarchy of the organisation is flat, which sometimes leads to long-lasting discussions without a clear outcome
