Pros
Lovely colleagues, good tech and support, and friendly, casual atmosphere/office atmosphere. It can be a pleasure coming into work every day, and the office is very welcoming. The pay is generous and compares favourably with industry competitors.
Cons
Some of the senior managers are surface friendly, but in many instances this can disappear and reveal some unprofessional behaviour, unlike the regular staff. The company might move up a gear if they can hire senior staff that are not out of their depth in terms of managing projects and people. Also overtime can happen with no notice, work that could be done the next day. It was often I found myself doing an extra hours work at the end of the day when senior staff would make unfair requests when it was clear the working day was about to finish.
