Very likely some of highest salaries paid across the industry, +50% over other telcos Amsterdam HQ doesn't care much of wasting shareholder money - huge expense budgets: business class, company cars, glamouros events. Luxury office, good location Great school of corporate survival
Cons
Political environment, poor ethics Toxic reputation (scandals, compliance) HQ staff numbers blown out of proportion, importing people from operations to Amsterdam to do same work at x20 times cost. Incredibly expensive and dysfunctional, kind of safe heaven retreat for management, making up tons of excuse to allow shareholders to keep them in Amsterdam.
