Pros
In a nice part of town, there’s always close parking
Cons
Management promised a lot and never delivered, there’s a lot of favoritism, you’re at the mercy of the doctors mood, you’re expected to take on a ton of work, there’s no room for growth or raises, and there are no benefits. You get promised a free pair of glasses after 3 months but if you don’t stay for a full year you’re expected to pay them back in full. You’re expected to maintain the entire work spaces cleanliness, including cleaning the windows, you’re expected to upsell the patients at every possible moment, and when it’s perceived that patients aren’t going to buy glasses, you’re told to rush them out the door to make time for patients that will buy. The sheet they use to call previous patients back in is organized by how much money they spent the previous year, and there’s no regard for the employees, whenever frame representatives bring freebies to the office; the doctor takes them all home for him and his family, and to top it all off, he’s an extreme penny-pincher to the point of literally watering down the soap in the bathroom and hiding paper towels.
