Pros

The office can be a fun environment for fresh graduates. As an employee, you may feel proud to be a contributor to the change of young people's perspectives on social issues.

Cons

Since Vietcetera is still a start-up, the management system is disorganized. It's very likely that your onboarding process would be unstructured and obscure. The worst thing about working at Vietcetera is having a bad boss. Hao, the co-founder loves to manipulate people and give his staff poor salaries. Most people working at Vietcetera today are still underpaid. He loves to hire interns to save money and take advantage of young enthusiastic talents. Hao is indeed a boss with no humanity. I've witnessed Hao fired his employees in the cruelest ways and didn't let them say goodbye to their coworkers or hand over things properly.

Hi there, Hao here the CEO. I accept your review here although it's tough to hear your last few comments. It's true we had to let go of a few folks, but it's most likely because of the COVID period and we're all working remotely. If there was another instance, it was a decision related to performance or a mutual 'negative' leaving experience. We actively support those leaving with severance pay. It's usually the least the we can do. In regards to salaries, I don't think it's fair to say we underpay. Our business is growing now so we're able to pay more. So if you fall in the bucket of 'underpaid' - just ask! That goes for any job, not just Vietcetera. Starting March 2022, we're implementing a two time a year review cycle for salaries. Interns - we do hire many and they represent anywhere between 5-10% of our total staff at any time. Some of our most successful hires that stay with us for 3 or 4 years, or even longer, come from our internship program. I'm sorry you feel this way - if I knew who you were I would personally apologize.

Thank you! Always trying to improve...for internships its always tough because they start at different times and usually as individuals, not batches. So depending on the time of year you join and how developed a team is, you'll definitely have a varying experience. For content, things are pretty set . For other teams in areas like the business team it may be different as it requires being problem solvers, so being on your toes is required,

Thank you for the feedback. This is a bit older review, but I'm sure remains an area of concern for new joiners! Our upper management team is more now. At the time of writing this review, we only had 2. But we have now 5 across 5 different teams! We also have more seniors on the team to support with day to day mentorship. With that increase, job roles and responsibilities are becoming more clear.
