Great company, focused on advancing neurodegenerative therapy - Computational Neuroscientist Vielight Employee Review

Vielight is a great place to learn skills and the work environment is collaborative and kind. This family owned business has very low staff turn-over and most staff are still with company started when it started. This is a good sign why I applied for a job. I heard that some staff who were let go asked to be hired again.

Unfortunately, I saw a few incompetent colleagues in other departments who are unaware their skill sets are low and depended on their colleagues to complete their tasks. They like to complain about everything except themselves. Strangely, these staff refuse to resign but when asked to leave, blame their supervisors, their team members or the owner's family members.

Nice colleagues except those from the owner's family. The owner's son and wife are also part of the management.

No benefit, No overtime, No respect, they will ask you to do anything, Anything! No matter what position you are holding, you will be asked to do customer service, material handling, and countless insult and discrimination from management (most from the owner's wife). Don't trust the good reviews from the operational director above, it is the owner's son.
