Pros

Startup culture creating Content Delivery Network funded by large Swedish telecom company. Some smart people, some interesting technology. Pay is reasonable for the industry. Benefit package is also reasonable for a startup.

Cons

Extremely poor management structure. Founders always on the road selling with management left to technologists with poor people skills. Little in the way of feedback, less in the way of mentoring. Communication is confusing. The product continues to be re-engineered leading to missed deadlines and poor outcomes. This is the second or third rev of the original corporate vision. Poor execution. Lots of hand on involvement in the product by the funding company leading to many compromises. This company will probably be adsorbed by their corporate partners when they tire of the large investments they have made. If you expect stock to be worth anything to anyone other than the founders, forget it.

Pros

Really sharp, passionate colleagues. It has been years since I have felt as respected and appreciated as I do here. I see a lot of positive changes and improvements with feedback from anyone and everyone is welcomed and encouraged. People are pretty vocal and there is no stifling of opinions. Feedback is openly addressed. While there are rough edges I see progress towards smoothing out and feel very positive we will be in a better place soon.

Cons

The cons are pretty common. Communication could be improved. Most people are open minded to change and new ideas, but there are a few who are stuck in the "this is the way I have always done things" mode.
