      Pros

      I've been thoroughly impressed with how Vicarius markets itself.

      Cons

      In my time at Vicarius, I've observed and experienced a concerning lack of effective management and strategic direction. It's disheartening to witness a notable gap between the team's ongoing input and the decisions made by higher-ups. Management appears to struggle with incorporating regional market insights into its strategies, despite the teams insights and feedback, resulting in missed opportunities for the success of the company. What's particularly disappointing is the narrow and closed vision held by the management, which hinders growth. Additionally, the mismanagement of fund allocation further underscores these issues.

      Pros

      My review is from a completely different POV. In all my years of experience, I have always been that one in the room listening to management make the decisions regarding employee wellbeing, welfare budgets, recruitment and retention funds & allocations etc. I can confidently say that I have never seen an employer that genuinely cares about the employees satisfation as much as Vicarius does. Decisions are always fair and in a marco view of the global company, not just a specific region. Discussions are always open and welcoming, ideas are always thought thru regardless of your title or tenure at the company - everyone is truly equal (from the junior engineer all the way up to the CEO). I feel fortunate working here!

      Cons

      It is a remote-first company. While it has it's benefits, it also means you have to be available to your global team (the TLV team works Sun-Thu, while the rest of the world works Mon-Fri). You have locations in around the globe and need to sometime accommodate late meetings with APAC, EMEA or LATAM regions.
