Cons
Where should I start, please avoid working for this company at all costs. They deserve 0 stars. They hire multiple unpaid interns for a full-time position 9:30AM-6PM, 5 days a week which is illegal in New York State, that is a full-time job - not an internship. There are no benefits to this internship either, no lunch stipend, no career opportunities. They don't want to hire full-time employees because they are extremely cheap so they rotationally (spring, summer, fall) hire interns to work full-time for free labor. Interns are their marketing team, the only real employee is the Marketing Director, everyone else there is an intern (except for their family members who do customer service). They have no morals and asked interns to start in office during the peak of corona! They didn't even start slowly transitioning back into office, just went straight into 5 days a week like there is no pandemic going on, however I'm not surprised as they take Ubers everywhere and don't care about the risk they put others in. In the interview they say it's a rotational internship 3 weeks in one area, the next in another area, and the last 3 weeks you choose - that did not apply at all. They just assign you whatever and you really don't learn any marketing skills. They also don't have a proper marketing budget or plan, they just go on a day by day basis. This company has no structure or morals, it is run by the son who is in his early/mid 20's and is just a kid. Please don't waste your time working here, they are a million dollar business but don't want to spend money paying workers (no morals), they try to find the cheapest option (cut corners) for everything no matter how immoral it might be. At the end I didn't gain anything except insight into a culture I would never want to be a part of again.
