This is not a healthy workplace. Daily conversations revolve around resignations because of a toxic environment driven by lies, manipulation, and poor leadership behavior. HR is ineffective and largely symbolic. Leadership creates pressure instead of clarity, using fear as a management tool. The sales team is inexperienced and poorly managed. They struggle to handle high-pressure situations, overpromise to clients, lack product and market understanding, and shift blame when targets fail. There is no ownership, no strategy, and no accountability at the top—only pressure passed down to employees. Viacon stands out as one of the most toxic workplaces in Kolkata.
