Pros

Nothing. This place will set you up for complete failure.

Cons

My experience with Vestis has been nothing short of alarming. After enduring a lengthy two-month interview and onboarding process with both the hiring manager and HR, I was finally extended an offer letter complete with a confirmed start date. However, just as everything seemed set, I received a shocking call from HR informing me that my offer had been rescinded due to a supposed “hiring freeze.” What’s more distressing is that my hiring manager was completely blindsided by this decision, demonstrating a severe lack of communication and respect within the organization. Following this troubling experience, I began seeking opportunities elsewhere and soon learned of a mass exodus at Vestis, where over 80% of the salesforce was terminated without any prior warning or performance improvement plans—just abrupt dismissal. This indicates a deeply troubling culture where employees are treated as mere numbers rather than valued team members. Furthermore, the company’s stock is at an all-time low, and there’s a significant lawsuit pending against Vestis. It’s evident that they engage in poor business practices and show little regard for their employees' livelihoods. For your own sake, I strongly advise seeking employment elsewhere, perhaps even with a more reputable company like Cintas. Protect yourself from this corporate nightmare.

Pros

Weekly pay, hybrid work environment

Cons

Management is out of touch with requirements of job. Company continues to cut positions and ask more of employees that are left. I am now doing the job of multiple people from multiple departments (and companies!) with no change in compensation or adjustment of expectation of completed duties. In eight years I don't know that I've ever had a real merit based pay increase. Avoid.
