Pros
Some of the people who work there are nice and supportive,
Cons
At the back end of last year, Verve made several employees redundant but shortly after promoted others. There is a culture of micromanagement and overly critical feedback with some of the senior leaders. Verve lacks any benefits; they pay bare minimum pension contribution to employees. They don’t offer any official training to employees or Private Healthcare. They don’t resource work properly, leaving some people hugely overworked. Employees tend work very long hours (in the evening and over weekends) – this seems to be rewarded if you’re willing to do it. If not, you’re overlooked for progression and up first when it comes to them making cuts. There is also nobody responsible for HR and it’s unclear who you’re meant to go to if you have any issues.
