Pros

Genuinely good people to work with, especially across procurement and account management. There's real depth of talent there. You also get to use the product yourself in your day-to-day, so dogfooding is part of the culture, which is rare and genuinely useful for understanding what you're building.

Cons

Product vision isn't clear and domain ownership is fuzzy, which creates a lot of confusion about who owns what. Management is very top-down and can tip into micromanaging, with priorities shifting frequently. That leads to wasted effort, including discovery work on things that didn't need it. Retention in some teams has been a real problem.

Pros

The culture at Vertice is something I haven't experienced anywhere else. There's a real sense of ownership here. You're not just executing someone else's playbook, you're helping build something. Leadership is accessible, feedback is genuine, and the people around you push you to be better. The growth opportunities are real too. If you show up and deliver, there's a clear path forward and people actively invest in your development. It's the kind of place where your work actually matters and you can see the impact directly.

Cons

Like any high-growth company, things move fast and priorities can shift. If you thrive in structure and predictability, there's an adjustment period - but if you embrace the pace it becomes one of the best parts of the role.
