Vertex Inc is both an established and a growing organization. Next to its in-market and upcoming software products, which include its heavy-duty tax research groups and the data they provide, Vertex's biggest assets are its compassionate president and staff. You'll work your butt off, contributing to teams and to projects, learning all the time.
Cons
Vertex Inc is not your kind of place to work if you want to be micro-managed, work in a vacuum, or want someone else to take responsibility for your work and your growth. Also, if you have the mind-set to climb a ladder, title by title, this isn't your place; there are not a lot of levels, title-wise, in most departments.
