Pros

Still holding onto some quality employees with a lot of knowledge.

Cons

-Benefits continue to dwindle. -Employee attrition or layoffs with no back filling of desperately needed skill sets. -Poor planning and implementation of the simplest tasks required to keep business salient. -Company will pay some money for further education, if you can get it through approval, but they will not pay until the courses are completed which causes hesitancy to increase skills when the company lays off large numbers of employees. -Some management has clearly checked out and only do what is needed to keep pay checks coming. -Many, if not all, employees are looking for other opportunities. -No advancement or promotion possibilities or further employee development. -Zero concern for employee life/work balance.
