Pros

Some remaining smart and talented people from before Alphabet spinoff

Cons

There is a lack of clear vision and transparency in leadership communication. Work–life balance is poor, and there are limited opportunities for growth. Promotions tend to favor a small inner circle, while many employees who consistently work hard are often overlooked. Additionally, there has been ongoing confusion and uncertainty around equity compensation, especially following the sudden 70% reduction in RSUs announced last summer, which significantly impacted employee trust

Pros

Most of the team was very smart, and much of the work was very interesting.

Cons

Chaotic team structure, lots of red tape, confusing project ownership, too many overlapping people on some projects, while not enough for others.
