The ability to work remotely, the emphasis on sustainability/reducing carbon footprint, and the culture are my favorite parts of working at Verdant Services. Working here, your colleagues become your extended family. I've received gifts when I became a mom. I've helped pick gifts for colleagues who've lost loved ones. This is the first company where I've felt like my bosses really do see me as a person, not just a means to get work done.

The work fluctuates with Verdant just as with any consulting company. I think those who crave rigid structure and company policies carved in stone might not like it as much. Verdant work and processes are fluid as we are always striving to improve our processes.

Good culture, work-life balance. You feel human there. Everyone is nice. Aggressive or mean people do not exist. The benefits are good and the company makes a big effort to be inclusive and organize activities.

Politics can be opaque as with any small business. Probably not going to pay as much as a bigger company would for an equivalent position, although the relaxed vibe of the company makes up for that somewhat.
