Pros

This is a position at home depot, NOT MARKETING

Cons

The CEO is awful, rude, and a snob. She couldn't even tell me what the daily duties of the marketing manager position would be because she said that was a question for the second interview if I made it.

Dear reviewer, thank you for sending your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. Our CEO is professional and hard working so we are saddened to see that you thought she was a rude snob. We work with well-known Fortune 500 clients so we are not a “scam” or “fake corporation.” We make it very clear during the phone screening that the first interview is brief and preliminary. We are more than happy to answer any questions during the interview process, but the second interview is where we go over everything in more detail. Our office is cleaned everyday so we are confused about why you thought it was moldy and gross. Again, we apologize for wasting your time so please feel free to email us with any additional concerns at hr@verancemanagementgroup.com.

Pros

Very supportive and engaged management who is very willing to help you out in any situation. Management wants to see their employees succeed and grow and will do anything it takes to get you there. Learn how to talk to people, how to handle rejection, and how to enhance your self accountability skills - which is very helpful in work and in life. Great opportunity for growth into a management position. Team meetings in the morning are always fun and very informative and is a good start to each day. Every day is different which makes work a bit more exciting.

Cons

You have to hold yourself accountable for your own success and be willing to work hard to accomplish your goals. Standards set by the company each week can be challenging to reach, but very possible if you're willing to put in the work. Also, you can't be afraid of driving to new places.

Pros

Everyone during the interview process was very welcoming, direct, and professional. The first interview took place at the company's office, and the second at one of the Fortune 500 clients location where everything being said about the company and position was very clear and exactly what it was said to be. The interview was broken done first like any other interview, asking questions about yourself and why you qualify for the position your applying for, and the second interview went into further detail about the company itself, and about each individual position and how they grow within the company. They even demonstrate what they do day to day so everything about the job is clear and something you would find to be fitting which I found to be very helpful and comforting. If I could describe this company is a couple of words it would be welcoming, supportive and helpful for which I felt all three at the interviewing process right from the beginning!

Cons

None come to mind!
