Pros

You can work with some brilliant colleagues and learn from them. The office is okay if you are into sports and open-space culture.

Cons

My usual day at VEO starts with amusement about where the immediate managers are and why they are not doing their jobs, such as effective sprint planning, team building, and resolving conflict within the team. Instead, the company thinks it is the responsibility of the individual engineers to do all of those things. Meanwhile, managers drift from 100 training days to vacation, parental or sick leave. Afterwards, making you accountable for the issues. Did I mention that the software department of a 500+ people company does not have any QA engineer responsible for software?
