Plenty of work to be done from monitoring, checking in on customers while they are working, calling and escalating issues.

No room to grow or learn as an IT professional. Plenty of downtime to study or learn the job's policies of which many of them change every week. Eatel wants the NOC to stay where they are and never grow. They basically want people to stare at monitors all day and call people when things happen. The NOC is basically a dead end job. Managers receive their orders from Eatel, who have no idea how or care to run/manage a data center, some people from Eatel still don't even know there's a data center. There are other positions but if you work in the NOC don't ever expect to go anywhere. Pay is decent for what you do.
