I like it here - Operations Manager Venture Up Employee Review

Venture Up was my first step into the recruitment industry just over a year ago and I haven't looked back since. What I loved about Venture Up when deciding to join was their ambition and culture, they clearly showed trust in me from day one and truly valued my input. With all start-ups, there is up and downs but the way we have all been able to take the negative and spin it into a positive is a real credit to the whole company, especially the founders. The environment and flat management structure have allowed each individual to thrive without the need for KPIs and constant micro-management, which is another HUGE plus point for me!

As with all start-ups, there are learning curves and mistakes made. Slight lack of structure and too much freedom to start with but that was quickly resolved and it is improving every day.

Everyone has an input into company development and growth, if you have an idea (literally anything) it will be listened to! The commission structure is one of the best out there along with generous bonuses and great company benefits! Good company culture- open office, no KPIs, very sociable and relaxed working environment. Great clients across diverse industries!

Nothing major at all, but communication could be better at times.
