Pros
- Product Idea is amazing and useful - I have heard that the influx of people from Google has improved the company culture and compensation quite a bit. But I will share my personal experience around these points in cons section
Cons
- They had no product planning and grooming - The head of engineering was an ex-Amazon employee, he would assign and manage tickets on adhock bases. - The head of engineering had no trust in team, asked the team to create epics, groom them without any input from product team. - The head of engineering used to micro-manage everyone. He would even make employees do all-nighters - He would make empty promises around bonuses and promotions - It was a one man show - They always wanted a 5 hour work to be done in 1 hour.
