Pros
Literally none. Finally having left this toxic place is a Pro
Cons
My time at Veeva was, without exaggeration, the worst professional experience of my life. What the company portrays externally: innovation, values, and a "people-first" culture is in stark contrast to the reality behind closed doors. There is a deeply toxic environment where bullying is tolerated, even enabled. Certain teams are run by managers who lead through fear, favoritism, gaslighting, and manipulation, with zero accountability. HR is not a safe space and always sides with leadership, regardless of how inappropriate or unethical the behavior may be. Complaints go nowhere, and retaliation is a real risk. This is especially true in this region. No wonder more than 30% of the employees left the company in a year. I genuinely feel sorry for this place as it has high potential but management/leadership is filled with nasty people who plays politics and blames others every single day for their 0 worth/value. But wait? There's more! Constructive feedback is discouraged, dissenting voices are silenced, and mental health suffers quickly in such a corrosive atmosphere. The people who survive are often those who stay quiet, play politics, or enable the bad behavior. If you value fairness, psychological safety, or basic human decency, I’d strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I wouldn't work here even if I was paid 5x more than I make now.
