Shameless team of Veear has breached my contract on the first day of work. After a successful interview with the client I received an offer and was excited to start the work. I signed my part of the agreement with Veear and requested a copy with their signature. That copy was never sent back to me. This raised a red flag but I decided to wait until my first day of work. That day came soon. Here's the email I received from Veear: Good morning Alex Customer is undergoing budgeting. At this point you I would suggest you keep your options open as this could tip in any direction. Different businesses have taken different approaches to manage their business amid this pandemic. I will know more by end of this week from them and will be happy to share with you. Take care and stay safe Thanks Raj After connecting with the client's team on LinkedIn and learning there's no restructuring I realized that this was a lie. Veear decided that I was expensive at the rate that we had agreed to and they terminated my contract leaving me hanging with all my other interviews and opportunities cancelled as I was committed to start my work.
