Pros

Due to the nature of my job at Vectrus, I rather keep myself somewhat anonymous. I have been working here not just slightly less than one year and out of all the companies I have worked for previously in the last five years, Vectrus has been the "Goldilocks" company. Not only do they care about its customers, they care about their employees. So how does Vectrus care about the employees.... 1. The management on the ground listens to you, although the answer may not be yes at the moment, they will get back with you at a later time and whether it be good news or bad news, the point is, they took the time to do it. 2. Vectrus gives you enough vacation days each contract year which you can carry over to the next contract year. 3. Vectrus hires people with certain physical disabilities which I have not seen in any other previous company. 4. Vectrus puts their employees in company accommodations which are really nice BTW.

Cons

Vectrus is a a para-military branch company, so while working here you may somewhat feel you are in the military. This could be a good thing or a bad thing for some. Depending where you are currently located, the commute to work and back can be rather tedious.

Pros

Good pay, afforded the opportunity to help end users, generally ok with asking for time off to take of personal matters. Generally.

Cons

The training was thorough, but very rushed. There are 'systems and resources' in place, however there are too many times that the daily directive conflicts and the hammer comes down on analysts for 'doing what they're told' because that isn't the right answer. Up until very recently there was one analyst constantly getting 'kudos' for all these great things he had done. Yet he rushes customers and abuses the ticketing system. He is not thorough at all yet he is displayed as a star example. Still has a job though. I've seen good people let go without notice to counter that. The contract is up in the air and the directives from management constantly conflict with what has been taught or has been policy. They haven't cared about the details until the contract came up and other proposals are being looked over.
