The company has had rapid and steady growth for many years, which gives engineers the stability and flexibility to work on projects. People are friendly and respect each other, in the same department or not. Working hours are very flexible. Managers are willing to talk and listen, and accommodate individuals' needs. Goals are realistic. Most engineers, if not all, have the desire and passion to have their work done well.
Cons
In the engineering department, there is no professional development program. Most of the time, engineers need to learn and pick up new technologies by themselves. Some managers encourage that by allowing engineers spending some time on learning, but others don't pay attention to that. Sometimes, engineers do not get enought important information from upper managements about the direction of projects.
