      A k-12 systems allows for services to wrap around a student unfortunately, this is not taken advantage of

      Cons

      Nepotism is hiring, the CEO and directors do not have basic knowledge in education law so leadership operates from a place of ego, feelings bias etc. lack of investment in PD for staff, the mentality is “build it your own unless we tell you otherwise.” It’s really sad that adults power trip gets in the way of providing a quality education to kids.

      Pros

      I was able to explore mediums and teach elementary level Art to students. Implementing the elements of art and applying it into basic art projects for them to understand.

      Pays better than most schools

      Cons

      Admin has no clue what theyre doing. Kids run the school and there's nothing you can do about it. You'll get called the n word, get things thrown at you, be disrespected and there's nothing you can do about it. There is no accountability and you'll lose all motivation you had for working at a school
