everyone in a higher position seems to have brought each other in which can make it feel a bit like a high school clique.

Working at Variphy has been an absolute pleasure from the onset. The product domain is interesting, as well as challenging. There are a ton of different engineering challenges that need to be met in order to support the types of things we do, which makes the job even more enjoyable. The leadership at Variphy does a fantastic job of not only putting you in the best possible position to succeed, but are also extremely flexible with your desires. As an employee, you are free to help shape the landscape of the company and the product. This is the kind of trust between leadership and employees that builds a strong, cohesive work force. The team being built at Variphy conflates talent and culture fit like nowhere I've been. Everyone from the top down is a joy to work with and quarterly meet-ups (we all work remotely) are a blast.

This isn't a con for me personally, but as a smaller company, don't expect to be able to "blend in" like one might be able to at a large corporation. Everyone at Variphy is very familiar and friendly with one another and everyone stands out in some way.
