Pros

Co-workers in my experience were pretty cool, and I’d even say the department I was apart of was particularly smooth Meeting celebrities was also pretty cool. Also I do think the requirement of reading a book a month was pretty cool as I would even like to instill that in my own company in the future at some point

Cons

I don’t even know where to start , Firstly don’t fall for the fake reviews written by upper level management Next a promise of equity that was never delivered even though I contributed considerably more than the justified amount necessary to meet that goal (I was directly responsible for multiple 6 figure months) Built out projects and assets worth several million when it was all said and done WATCH OUT FOR THE EMPLOYEE INTRODUCTIONS/MONTHLY MEETING AS THEY ARE JUST HAZING /HUMILIATION CEREMONIES IN DISGUISE AND ARE USED TO FILTER OUT PEOPLE WHO DONT ALIGN THEMSELVES WITH THEIR WAY OF THINKING OR “MANTRA” DONT TRUST HR , as there is just a whole bunch of mental games being played and makes it seem as if they are on your side BUT THEY ARE NOT The company is ran the complete opposite as to what PBD preaches and seems to thrive off of toxicity, and trust me I’m one to play ball but everyone in every other department seemed to want to one up eachother at all times and were extremely fake (again I didn’t make myself apart of the overall politics but I definitely have eyes and ears) You are REQUIRED to live, breath and eat Valuetainment as they foster a cult like culture where PBD is this god like figure and when he steps in the room everyone sorta wants to be in his face to show they are working? Very strange Almost no work like balance as you will be contacted at odd hours and will be fully expected to get whatever it is needed done. Also if you expect to grow at all within this company you’ll have to be PBD’s PET as well as get past his PET (virtually impossible as you will be snuffed out the second you pose a threat) And lastly the highest turnover of any company I’ve ever seen, people just sorta … disappeared… fast

Pros

You learn a lot and are put in an uncomfortable environment but in the best way. It unlocks so much growth

Cons

There is a lot of pressure at times but if you structure and organize yourself accordingly it gets easier.

Pros

You will be working on “big ideas”

Cons

First and foremost this is a sales organization. Everything is sales - including your day to day. You have to dress a certain way, look like you’re working at all times (which means being at your desk at all times) and always espouse the company propaganda. The amount of gossip, spying and paranoia at this company is unprecedented. Whether or not you are good at your job, have any idea what you’re talking about or have deep industry experience is irrelevant. It’s all about appearances here. Any questioning of authority or direction results in you “not believing” and being shut out. It literally is a corporate cult. When you interview ask them what their one year turnover rate it is. IF they tell you, remember they truly believe all of those people “didn’t have what it takes” and the organization can do no wrong because they are brilliant.
