Nurses are not involved in any of the decisions made in the department. Autocratic management. No staff retention, no fight from management to change that. Emergency department residents are generally awful to work with - very disrespectful and unappreciative of nursing staff with no upper management guiding their attitudes and behaviors. Mandatory 12% deduction from every check retirement pension. It adds up!!
