Pros

There are a few good employees here. Their heart is in the right place, and they truly care for others. They work hard, and deserve better.

Cons

Toxic environment administration is horrible. Take over by Stanford 2 years ago. The first year things improved but then Stanford started pulling their people out. Currently you still have the same toxic group directing/managing the hospital. Scary!!! They have no idea what to do, where to go, or how to make things better. What was being done before was NOT working. Unless there is a major overhaul with administration this hospital will continue to go down. After that, work on improving our services for our patients.

Pros

This review is for the 1 West med-surg floor that I worked at. •communicative staff •kind co-workers •nurses actually help the CNAs •healthy, comfortable work environment •workload is not as heavy as working at SNFs •decent starting pay for CNA (~$30/hr) •1:8 cna to patient ratio !! (no more 14-16 pts like SNFs) •great benefits !! (it's worth it, trust me) •teamwork actually provided (it's so nice) •lift team included !! (they help with lifts and transfer!) •great hours & flexible schedules

Cons

n/a, Stanford Tri-Valley has been the healthiest work environment i've ever experienced. I miss it there dearly. Would have stayed a lot longer if I didn't have to relocate for school.
