Pros
Every shift varied keeping the job refreshed and exciting. The event staff and Sweet Waters restaurant worked closely together to create a welcoming and friendly environment on the floor as well as in the shared backrooms and kitchen. A work experience I remember fondly.
Cons
As expected in the event industry, hours depend on events and so it can be unpredictable scheduling week to week. However, management is extremely understanding of this and often try to find shifts around the hotel that can be filled during low event weeks. Event managers are also very accommodating with personal schedules such as school or other part-time jobs.
