Pros

Very mission driven. My team is wonderful. Generous time off and holidays.

Cons

It is a tough time to be in the non profit space in WA, especially in community mental health though I believe Valley Cities will weather this and keep those they serve as the focus.

Pros

It reflects the core of what Valley Cities does: helping individuals (empowerment) and impacting the broader community (strengthening). Focuses on growth, resilience, and hope—important for behavioral health messaging. Supportive leadership that works across all programs and services. Commitment, compassion, and resilience are the reason we can continue to serve our community with excellence.

Cons

Staff may not always feel good about expectations or changes but are connected to their daily work that references care, compassion, or healing.
