Thank you for your feedback. We strive to make the work rewarding and provide great opportunities to learn and grow your career.
Current employees regularly provide feedback to management to address the type of issues mentioned. Honesty, transparency, and frequent feedback are built into the culture and company best practices. We have a well-defined method of structured, safe feedback in place that team members take advantage of on a biweekly basis. There is also an expectation for each team member to provide 360 reviews on a quarterly basis. This approach has led to many great realizations and improvements that would not have been possible in a typical corporate environment.
Any turnover is unfortunate given how much time and effort we invest into our team. However, during the last year we hired many more people than have left. We are expecting this trend to continue as we take on new team members to meet the growing demand for our services.
very generous vacation freedom to learn and grow skill sets get to work with top people in the field feeling of team work and appreciation is great for a remote company retreats
- Engaging Work: Working at Validate, I've had the opportunity to work on interesting and impactful problems, and solving these problems can be very rewarding.
- Talented Team: The tech team has very competent individuals and is very collaborative despite being fully remote.
- Knowledgeable Leadership: The CEO is exceptionally knowledgeable and well-regarded in the ACO space.
- Fun Retreats: Validate organizes fun retreat trips twice a year, embodying a work-hard, play-hard mentality.
- Recognition and Compensation: Hard work is acknowledged by management. Personally, I’ve experienced nearly a doubling of my total compensation in just a few years, reflecting the Validate's commitment to rewarding effort.
Cons
- Inconsistent Prioritization and Planning: At times, planning can feel scrambled and not everyone is on the same page as far as what should be prioritized, which can lead to confusion about tasks and objectives.
- Overcommitment: Validate sometimes commits to too many promises simultaneously, which can be stressful for the tech team and consultants.
- Meeting Management: Meetings can be lengthy and unfocused, detracting from time available for actual dev work.
