Pros
Everyone is very kind. The culture is open and friendly leading to quality professional relationships. The training staff has helped me become familiar with the HUGE refinery and comfortable asking for help.
Cons
The Port Arthur refinery is in a not so pretty part of Texas. It smells. The surrounding community is pretty scary sometimes. Luckily the competitive pay can cover a gated community.
