Pros

Valeris has a thoughtful, engaged leadership team that is actively investing in the finance function. There’s a clear focus on improving processes, building capability, automation and driving more strategic partnership with the business. It is a very exciting time. The team is collaborative, pragmatic, and aligned on delivering results in a dynamic environment. We also are very collaborative and support each other and has lots of FUN!!

Cons

Pace can be high during key periods, and priorities evolve as the business grows—but this is typical of organizations with high growth and investing for the future.

Pros

Little to no micromanaging, ability to work remote.

Cons

This company has become a shadow of its former self. What was once a great organization with a strong culture and reasonable work life balance changed significantly after it was acquired by a private equity firm. Since then morale has declined, workloads have increased, and many resources have been moved offshore. Employees are often overworked and burnout is common, yet leadership appears disconnected from the reality many teams are facing. Communication is limited and meaningful support from leadership is lacking. Company messages about positivity and finding joy in the journey tend to feel out of touch with the day to day experience of employees, and they are often met with frustration rather than encouragement.
