Pros

Health insurance, 401K match, interesting products, engineering colleagues are kind and helpful

Cons

Training is little to nonexistent. At least when I started there was no training period where you learned about the different products, how to work with them, or how to use Valeo systems and tools. If you're a function owner you'll be expected to write requirements for products but there was no training on the correct way to write the requirements or the approval process for them. The pay could be better. I have a female colleague who has the same title and position as me whose starting pay is less than what I started at over 3 years ago. She technically had more experience than I did as she started as an intern and I only started right out of college. Interns are performing the role of function owners Working weekends is not an uncommon thing for some teams unfortunately

Pros

Great place to learn and gain hands-on automotive experience. People are generally friendly and easy to get along with, and you’ll be exposed to a lot of technologies and real-world problem solving very quickly.

Cons

Upper management is disorganized and heavily political. Decision making is often chaotic, priorities constantly change, and there is very little work-life balance. Long hours and high stress can burn people out quickly.
