      Pros

      Hybrid work Coworkers are nice

      Cons

      You ve to do just the right amount of work. Don’t do more or less. Leadership does not want you to do better than anyone else- you have to be equal and average. There is no space here to be innovative. The pay is horrible, not livable for a city like Austin.

      Pros

      Vaco placed me in an IT Governance/Architecture contract role at $xxx/hour and was hands-on throughout the entire process. They guided me through every stage of the interview, provided great prep, and kept communication tight. If you’re a senior tech professional looking for high-value contract placements, I’d highly recommend working with them. They’re responsive, professional, and clearly invested in your success — not just filling a seat.
