Don’t work at Vacgen. Rude and arrogant, think they know everything. I was mistreated, there’s no equality at the workplace. Terrible for training people. You feel scared asking someone a question, you get ignored or moaned at for not asking earlier or for not knowing the answer to start with. I didn’t even ask many questions. A lot of miscommunication, everyone blames other people for not doing something. It’s a blame game. “Go and see her, she has the answer. I don’t have time.” or “Why hasn’t someone else trained you? I can’t teach you.” or “I have to give priority to people in my department. I can’t sign this document because I have so much else to do.” Some people in particular, do not leave you alone! I know about team work and communicating with other colleagues but some people were ridiculous. Shouting across the room to get your attention, making you feel stupid, talking about you behind your back or talking in the same room so you can hear everything. And having to pretend to ignore it all. Secrets being whispered around the workplace like Chinese whispers behind your back and only finding out what’s been going on through a close colleague. If they don’t like you, you’ll know about it soon enough. Don’t work here if you want to be treated with respect.

-No training given but the expectation is there to “figure it out yourself” all the time -high pressure environment, this wears people down -Management at every level are disengaged, inefficient, and at the most senior level: demeaning and passive aggressive -Very high staff turnover which means knowledge is lost over and over again -Honestly, a boring and depressing atmosphere in the office space. Really wouldn’t recommend working here if you are enthusiastic and enjoy a positive environment. My cons were my own experience. I will say, if this industry interests you and you are looking at the early stages of your career, this may be a great first stepping stone. I wish I had done more research and reached out to current and recent staff to get a better understanding of what I was signing up for
