If you have 10 years or more at this place, you know how bad this place has gone downhill on a fast roll. - Operator VVF Employee Review

Pros

None. They use to pay well but now they hire in at lower wages. The insurance cost rises with every contract.

Cons

Mandatory overtime. If your lowest senior, you work 4 hours over EVERY DAY and are forced to come in 4 hours before your shift. That leaves 8 hours between for your family and sleep! Management treats you like your a puppet. "Do what I say or get written up". ( 3 write ups in 1 year and your fired.) They resently took all chairs off the production floor and said they would get better production out of us. So now you work 12 hour shifts (back to back) and have to stand on a solid concrete floor. Breaks are 10 minutes each and 20 minutes for lunch. Don't be 1 minute late or you'll get a letter. (Remember you get 3 a year, your fired!) Don't forget to punch in or you'll get a letter. We are a union shop, they write up grievances and it is "respectfully denied " THIS IS A SWEATSHOP TO WORK FOR. New hires are not staying and new ones are getting written up so fast they are gone before they have time to figure out all the rules.

Pros

Keeps you moving, always fast paced, good people, room to grow if you work hard and stay out of things that don't pertain to work and production.

Cons

Could use more consistency and collaboration between Mgrs and Team Members.
