Pros

- Some really smart, knowledgeable and helpful Colleagues/Seniors - Exposure to complete product development cycle - Can quickly move up the corporate ladder provided you work 24/7 and are able to tolerate completely unprofessional and abusive top management. - Direct interactions with foreign clients.

Cons

- Unprofessional and abusive management. Management takes pride in abusing and treating employees in an unprofessional manner. - Employees are branded "Excellent" based on their boot licking ability and number of emails not based on the quality of work and leadership. - Totally impractical and illogical appraisal system. "Excellent" branded employees are given huge raises whereas employees who are contributing most to the project and organization through their work and leadership are completely ignored or given nominal increments. - Development process and quality are completely neglected as the focus is solely on meeting unrealistic deadlines which the management has committed to the client without even consulting the development team. - Laborious work culture, you are expected to work 24/7 for the whole year. Zero Work life balance. Leaves policy exists just for the sake of existing. - Although the management claims of no politics, there is visible politics in all branches of the company. - Accounts and HR departments are almost non-existent.

Pros

The company works on amazing projects. Clients are top companies. If you love Embedded, this is a great place to be. Projects cover Voice, Video, Networking, FPGA etc, lots of chance to explore multiple domains. Senior Engineers are very knowledgeable.

Cons

Work life balance is poor. So much focus on expansion, that the company I left didn't resemble the company I joined. At one point, the mid level engineers barely existed. A few managerial level and tons on entry level engineers. Basically, company treats mid level engineers such that they don't want to remain loyal. Some project guarantees are a case of biting more than one can chew.
