Pros

The team is friendly, approachable, and consistently helpful.

Cons

The biggest issue is the way employees are treated. There is a clear disconnect between management and the people actually doing the work. Employees are expected to meet demanding expectations while receiving very little support in return. No matter how much effort is put in, it often feels like it is never enough. A major concern is the constant manpower shortage. Instead of hiring sufficient staff, existing employees are expected to take on additional responsibilities and cover multiple roles. Night shift work arrangement are imposed with little or no advance notice. Employees are expected to rearrange their personal lives at the last minute without consideration for their commitments outside of work. This has become one of the main reasons employees choose to leave the company. The lack of planning and consideration for employees’ well being reflects poorly on management and contributes to the turnover rate. Communication from management is poor, and important decisions are often made without consulting the people affected by them. Employees are expected to accept sudden changes without question, even when those changes have a significant impact on both their work and personal lives. Another issue is the lack of inclusiveness in communication. Meetings are frequently conducted in Mandarin despite having employees who do not speak or understand the language. As a non Mandarin speaker, it is frustrating to sit through discussions without fully understanding what is being said, especially when important decisions, updates, and instructions are involved. Employees should not have to rely on colleagues for translations in order to understand information that directly affects their work. This creates an environment where some employees feel excluded and disadvantaged. Favouritism is also one of the most obvious issues within the company. It is difficult not to notice that the “big boss” treats certain employees much better than others. Some individuals appear to receive more support, flexibility, and understanding, while others are held to a completely different standard. Many employees can clearly see that management has its preferred group of people, creating an unfair work environment where equal treatment is lacking. Opportunities, workload distribution, and management responses often seem inconsistent depending on who is involved. This has damaged trust in leadership and negatively affected morale across teams. Employee feedback rarely leads to meaningful improvements. Problems that have been raised repeatedly continue to exist, giving employees the impression that management is either unwilling or unable to address them. Instead of identifying root causes and implementing solutions, responsibility is often pushed onto employees whenever issues arise. Recognition for hard work is rare, while criticism comes quickly. Employees often feel that their efforts go unnoticed, yet mistakes are highlighted immediately. This creates a culture where people feel undervalued, unappreciated, and constantly under pressure. Staff turnover has become increasingly noticeable, and it is not difficult to understand why. Many capable and experienced employees have left, while others are actively seeking opportunities elsewhere. Low morale, increasing workloads, poor communication, favouritism, and sudden shift changes have created an environment where retaining employees has become a challenge.

Pros

Slight increment from previous salary

Cons

- not inclusive culture - important meetings close to fully mandarin even if have non-mandarin speakers inside - key team members don't know how to work with others - tasks suppose to be delegated are not conveyed well which causes alot of miscommunication - blaming delays on others when message was not even conveyed - everyone tries to protect themselves so hard that it makes a simple task become so difficult to complete as alot of convincing needed and people keep pushing to others
