Pros

Very little micromanagement. Sales people are given to autonomy to manage their schedules and chase opportunities that they feel are worth while. Competitive compensation package that is paid out faster than most.

Cons

Little of no response from management when help is needed. VSGi's market has been flooded with integrators over the last 5 years and they have not adapted to the times to move into additional segments or bring on strategic partners.

Pros

the people here are a great set of people. they want to help you become your best in this industry.

Cons

McLean traffic, as always, is horrendous. This location is too close to the mall. you will hit the mall traffic during lunches and traffic going out at 5:30PM

Pros

The building the company leases their office space in is nice. Convenient location to the beltway.

Cons

Inside sales position's receive little to no training on required job functions by upper management and the Outside Account Managers they support. This causes an increased learning curve and turn over rate. Micromanagement on inputting SalesForce activities create a tension between inside sales team and upper management. A lack on communication between outside account managers, inside account managers, and project managers cause a lot of project completion issues. There is a frat boy culture, its more about being liked than doing your job. There are egos within the company that are more important than the bottom line. Tread carefully on who you stand your ground with if you want to keep your job. Make sure to get a clear and written statement for pay and commission if you are in sales.
