Pros
The only really positive thing about the company is that the other employees you meet are like family, well most of them except management. You make a lot of friends, also the owners and the guest are like family and you grow a great relationship with them. They will appreciate you for the things you do and in the end they are really the only ones that make a difference to working at the resorts.
Cons
There are NO LUNCH BREAKS... do not ever expect to work a shift anytime from April-October and get a lunch break, they do not let you have lunch breaks, espcially in the off season because they only have one person at the desk, so there will not be any breaks. Management refuses to help out where needed when it comes to the front desk because they simply could care less. Be prepared to be assigned task that are not for Front Desk Employees to do, Anything that will be in your hiring papers is not exactly what you will be completing. Management is tearing down the resorts.. That is THE BIGGEST problem about working here is if you have a problem, Management will not listen. There is really no way to move up unless you have been here 5+ years. They also took all benefits away and "raised the pay".. There is no opportunity for getting raises. The company does not treat long time employees well, or appreciate the hard work they put in to make that company stronger.. They get rid of all their great employees.. instead of facing a problem they get rid of people and make the problem disapear. A lot of the cons has to do with HR and management and unfortunately this place will be run to the ground if the head of the company doesn't realize it, but honestly i think they just really don't care.. The important thing is that everything the employees pass on usually comes from the guest and from the owners, and since those are the people who pay for that place to be run the comments and suggestions should absolutely be taken into consdieration
